TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR HARD COPY & WEB ADVERTISING

01.      Upon agreement of the Advertising Terms & Conditions, a document will be signed in duplicate and an Invoice will be issued for the first two scheduled positions. This Invoice must be settled by the Print Deadline which is the 10 th day of the month preceding the insertion issue.

02.       The Client agrees to settle all following Invoices, issued every two months in advance, by the Print Deadline of the invoicing month at the latest.

03.      Cheques are to be made payable to THE TALK Magazine.

04.       Upon receipt of payment THE TALK Magazine guarantees to publish the graphic advertisement(s) as per the agreed schedule.

05 .      If the schedule details a Web advertisement/link then upon receipt of payment THE TALK Magazine will post up an active graphic web link/advertisement from www.thetalkmagazine.com to connect to the Client's website or email address of choice for the duration of the schedule.

06.      THE TALK Magazine shall produce 3000 Magazine each month of the schedule and manage and fund distribution to its regular York City and Yorkshire Regional outlets.

07.       In the event of the THE TALK Magazine further developing and the print run being increased within the schedule then THE TALK Magazine has the right to re-issue an adjusted tariff. A new schedule covering the remainder of the term will be calculated based on this document.

08.       The Client recognises that THE TALK Magazine will only increase the tariff to reflect no more than the percentage increase in distribution and therefore agrees to these terms.

09.       Unless THE TALK Magazine has been commissioned and received cleared payment for designing graphics specifically for the Client, THE TALK Magazine holds exclusive copyright on the said work. These artistic concepts and images must not, under any circumstances, be utilised by the Client or a Third Party for commercial, promotional or other purposes.

10.       Client-prepared artwork must be in keeping with The House Style & Good Taste Ethics of THE TALK Magazine. A copy of which is available upon request.

11.       THE TALK Magazine reserves the right to reject or re-design any artwork which is not in keeping with The House Style & Good Taste Ethics of THE TALK Magazine.

12.       Client-prepared artwork must be delivered to THE TALK Magazine before the Print Deadline which is the 10 th day of the month preceding the insertion issue.

13.       In the event of Client-prepared artwork not being delivered to   THE TALK Magazine by the 10 th day of the month preceding the insertion issue, THE TALK Magazine reserves the right to re-publish a previous graphic or to design/re-design on behalf of the Client. In the latter circumstance THE TALK Magazine will charge a £20.00 Late Design Fee.

14.      All Client-prepared artwork must be provided on CD or DVD formats or submitted electronically to: ads@thetalkmagazine.com

15.       Clients wishing to provide pre-prepared artwork must design to the dimensions specified in the current Tariff with an optional 6mm Bleed for Full or ½ page positions.

16.      Client-prepared artwork can be provided as JPG, TIFF, GIF, PDF or EPS and must be in CMYK format.

17.       Client-prepared artwork must be provided at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

18.      This agreement is mutually recognised as being legally binding between THE TALK Magazine and the Client.

19.       Breach of this agreement by the Client can, at the discretion of THE TALK Magazine, result in the schedule being nullified, outstanding monies requested and a Full Schedule Invoice issued for immediate payment.

20.      Breach of this agreement by THE TALK Magazine will result in the Client being reimbursed for unfulfilled activities which have been prior paid for.
